Prize Ideas:

- RapidShare 30-Day Premium Account (Or any other host premium account)
- Cheap newegg items etc..

Contest Ideas:

- Referall contest (Who can refer the most people to sign up on gamersfire, and post at least 5 posts)
- GFX Contest (Sig/logo contests)

How about running "TWG for stuff". We'll kill each other faster.

Ooooh... How about video game design for Gamerfire. With chosen game play spasifics so people don't submit other people's work.

Portrait of our founder? Where every one draws some sort of picture of what you(Golden Falcon) really look like.
(3 judge panel of M.Mark, ThaCobra, and Emu-Xperts) <lots of lol's with this. That way everybody stands a chance at winning too.

No Emu has to be a judge, who else could we use as a "Simon"? And we can't have the portrait of a judge on the panel because they really know what their own true self looks like.

the gfx contest sounds good, but no new member referrals crap. i don't want this place to turn into lockerz where people make up fake names and emails just to get "points".

The problem with a graphic comp is that there are very few people here who can do it.

Probably best to do a hide and seek type thing. Will have a look at other forums for some inspiration.

But the point is try it for fun. Not "oh that's not professional enough" so you should be shamed from this site.

It's about creativity, and imagination. Effort is required but not necessarily skill. That is why it would be Fun.

Contest Idea # 307: Gamersfire @ what?

Users come up with funny slogan for Gamersfire. Using this format:

Like:

First contest might just be a number guessing just so i can give things out.

I like the easter egg contest idea.

I also like GG's contest of "fun" gfx rather than skill.

The GFX Contest sounds good, and like MazterZ said, not just sigs.


The SSB tournament sounds nice too. Or a Hedqewars tournament.


The easter egg hunt is a cool idea.


And I kinda like G_G's portrait contest idea, just for the luls that can be had!




Imo, not every contest needs a "real" prize. But as for judging, I can be a judge in w/e contest needs one.

If we are going to play a game, I think Hedgewars would be best...there's not much lag involved in it.
