The problem im getting with this game is that everytime i start it up there is no sound, nothing at all. i googled my problem and a solution theat i got was to press ALT+TAB ill the game is running and click on the speaker icon(next to the time and date) and click "mixer". then it should show the volume bar for singularity, and just turn the volume up. the problem for me is that it does not show singularity in the mixer. i didnt really believe in this method until i tried it with my other pc games and they showed up in the mixer, so its just singularity. any clues to how i can solve this issue would be great cuz you just cant play a game if theres no sound in it. right? And whats worse is that there is no subtitle option either sooooo thats whack. i heard this game was good so i decided to give it a shot but i just cant play it now. thanks in advance! :D

2# Game Sound/Audio Very Low in Windows 7/Vista Mixer
When you start Singularity, it reduces the volume in Windows 7 mixer by 80%, its a driver override issue that arise in games using Unreal Engine. So you have to follow this guide below to fix the low sound volume.
1. Start Game.
2. [ALT] + [TAB]
3. Go to your system try by your clock and locate the icon that looks like a speaker.
4. Now, either right click on speaker and and chose “open volume mixer” or left click on it and click “mixer” underneath the volume slider.
5. You should now see Sigularity’s volume control, drag it up to the top.

Alternatively, go to Control Panel> Hardware and Sound> Sound > Click on Communications Tab and select “Do Nothing” radio button and it will fix this issue, its a permanent fix.

just out of curiosity have you tried updating the game to see if the makers have fixed this? cause I've looked around the 'net and that's all I find is what I posted.

There is an update out now ... maybe try that? v1.1
Also, update your sound drivers.

(If you have a Realtek HD onboard sound chip, get the latest driver from here:
http://www.realtek.c...&GetDown=false)

Also try this
1. Go to your sound card’s properties and change sample rate to 24-bit, 48000 (Studio Quality), Click Apply.

2. Start game, then alt-tab out. Don’t exit or it will not
work.

3. Click on volume control(bottom right corner). Then click “Mixer”.

4. You should see “Singularity” under Applications. The volume by default is set really low. Not sure why that is.

btw is this a legit copy?

I know this may sound stupid but make sure that all your drivers are up-to-date. I use a program called Driver Genius which the only one that it didn't find is an update to my wireless network card. I've used this program for about 2yrs now. If your interested look it up on PhazeDDL. Also make sure that your Windows is fully updated.
