Hey guys, for those of you who don't know what is going on in the shoutbox.

When you see Member http://gamersfire.net/user/8-irc/ post that means its coming from the IRC Channel.

The IRC Channel is:
address: irc.nitroroms.com
room: #NitroRoms

Steps to connect to IRC:

1. Download XChat here: http://www.silverex.org/download/
2. Follow these instructions: http://gamersfire.net/irc/

Not that this also works in reverse. Your messages in the shoutbox also appear on IRC. So you do not have to use IRC in order to communicate with them.

I haven't used IRC in about three years. I used to get most of my ISOs that way.

We mainly use it for chat, theres no downloads or pre's on our server.

we have a trivia bot in mirc now, courtesy of me and emu. the questions are made by me, so yell at me if you dont like them, like i give a fuck.
the game can be played when the aznTrivia bot is present. simply type !trivia ____ fill in the blank with the number of questions you wish to answer. !strivia to stop the bot.

Hey,

If anyone wanted to access the channel from Pidgin, here are some instructions.

Click Accounts from the top menubar, and click Manage Accounts. (Ctrl + A for Windows users)

Click Add... to make a new account, under the IRC protocol.
Under Username, put whatever you want to be seen as.
Under Server, write "irc.nitroroms.com" sans quotes.
Leave the rest blank.

Click Buddies from the menubar, and click Join a Chat. (Ctrl + C for Windows users)
Select the account you just made, and under channel, put in #NitroRoms.

Click Join and you should be in!

Well I cannot get on IRC maybe emu is just being a fag face and ban me or something, but im using Hydra and everytime I try to connect im "forcibly Disconnected"

On my laptop with Xchat I also can't auto-connect/
I need to do '/server irc.nitroroms.com'
On my desktop I can auto-connect though (with mIRC)
