[Golden Falcon]

Hey guys.

I've been hard at work on Gamersfire Mobile.

If you have an Android, iPhone, iPod Touch. Or runnning Blackberries etc... You should automatically go to the mobile version of GF when you visit gamersfire.net

Note: I had to fix a bug, but now you can switch to full skin and then back again. IF you click "Desktop View" and then want to get back to "Mobile View" Please click this link in the footer:



Anyone with mobile devices want to test this for me?

I'm running it now on my Motorola Droid running Android 2.0.1 Stock, looking pretty nice MUCH faster then loading the entire site!!

Working Functions (I do not have any screenshots yet, I will make some later):

Please let me know if its working for you, and let me know if you have any troubles.

Note: This has only been tested on Android phones at the moment. Anyone have any iPod touches/iPhones/PSPs to test it?

While I'm sure most if not -all- mobile devices will handle it far better; it does actually work on a PSP. While I can't tell the difference (or if it actually automatically loaded it as mobile) between normal & mobile, on my PSP Slim 5.50 gen-D (using Stock browser; not High Memory Mod/Netfront, couldn't get it to work. But that's just me)

I wouldn't recommend it though; but I wouldn't recommend using the Browser on the PSP..ever.

On a different note, the Wii Browser reads it just fine as well.

I noticed this on my touch from the start, but always switched to the normal skin lol. The normal one isn't really that bad, but then again, my wifi is probably faster than some people's 3G.

It's really plain and simple, which is good for mobile users. It really needs a view new posts button though, that would cut out a lot of browsing that people would have to do to see what is new since the last replied topic does not appear under each subforum.

That is not GF mobile... Thats just the lo-fi version of the board.

GF mobile is much sexier than that gtfo... let me see if i can fix it for the iPod

i get the normal sight on my psp's netfront homebrew browser.

Works good on BB storm. Cant really get a pic atm though.

Only problem I see so far is the Forum icons overlap the forum titles a little.

I tried adding a netfront/psp User Agent.

User Agent Key: netfront
Regex: netfront;


User Agent Key: psp
Regex: psp;PlayStation Portable;

I am guessing it would work well on the Bunjaloo web browser. It suites heaps of mobile applications.
